Foreclosure Assistance Fair

Did you know that if someone’s home gets foreclosed, the bank can and often will pursue the homeowner for the amount of money the bank lost?  Recently, the husband of a single-income family came to me.  Due to health problems, he lost his job, and their income plummeted.  Even after going through bankruptcy, they were unable to keep the house.  To avoid foreclosure, I was able to help them sell their home for less than they owed.  Once settled in a new place without the responsibilities of home ownership, they told me they felt very relieved.

I’m always glad to help especially when someone is in such a difficult situation, but I’m also saddened that someone has lost their home.  It’s like losing a family member.  That’s why I wanted to let you know about a FORECLOSURE ASSISTANCE FAIR coming up soon.

Congressman MIKE QUIGLEY has organized a Foreclosure Assistance Fair on Saturday, October 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Northside College Preparatory High School, 5501 North Kedzie Avenue.  Cook County Commissioner, Bridget Gainer, will be Rep. Mike Quigley’s special guest.  Please spread the word, so we can help others avoid foreclosure.

As always, let us know if we can help you with any of your real estate questions or concerns.
